The room temperature sensor provides real-time alerts when the temperature at your building lowers to dangerously cold levels. Sensor should be placed in a heated area of your building known to be cold. Sensor attaches to a wall with adhesive strips that are designed to hold the sensor without damaging painted or papered surfaces. Comes with 2 AA batteries installed.
