The water sensor provides a real-time alert when water intrusion occurs at its installed location. Sensor should be placed near areas where water should not be present or could be a nuisance such as near a sump pump, water heater, boiler or water main. Sensor attaches to a wall with adhesive strips that are designed to hold the sensor without damaging painted or papered surfaces. Use care to leave enough slack in the wire to place the bracket with probes on the ground with the probes facing down. Comes with 2 AA batteries installed. Dimensions: 4.375” x 2.47” x 1.12”.
